We left Ghana behind eventually and entered Togo with a battle. This was the first border official who tried to overcharge us for our visas. After some arguing the some waiting about and enlisting the help of some fellow travellers crossing the border we found another official who agreed to complete our visas for us. What a palaver for two days and what a chaotic border crossing. The rest of our visit to Togo consisted of a lazy day at Chez Alice recoving from the border chaos and then a short drive to the Benin border.
