Camel Camp, Rift Valley, Magadi Rd

After a couple of days in Nairobi getting the usual chores and servicing done on the car we headed for the Rift Valley to do a walking safari with camels. We set of with the camels carrying our lugage to a bush camp. From our base camp we did a couple of day walks which were very interesting, though hot. Unfortunately we did not see much in the way of game but it was a nice way to spend a couple of days.

After our camel safari we headed down to Lake Magadi for a picnic lunch with the flamingoes and pelicans - a beautiful spot. Then we hit the road to Uganda with a few stopovers in some beautiful spots.
